Broad group of AM actors supports METALS project results

09 January 2019

The METALS project, which was coordinated by CECIMO, has reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a variety of additive manufacturing stakeholders from all over Europe.

The purpose of the MoU is to raise awareness of the education and skills needs in Additive Manufacturing (AM) throughout the EU-funded project.

As the document highlights, AM skills are becoming increasingly important in the European machine tool sector and manufacturing in general. A workforce with solid AM-relevant skills is becoming more and more relevant. The METALS project supports this goal in a number of ways, for instance with the creation of a free online course on AM.
