CECIMO SPRING MEETINGS 2023
CECIMO Spring Meetings 2023, hosted by MiB (Makina İmalatçıları Birliği), Turkish Machine Manufacturers took place in Antalya, Türkiye between 06-09 May 2023. The four days programme consisted of a variety of strategic meetings focusing on the future roadmap of the machine tool sector. In addition, an interesting social programme allowed participants to discover the hidden treasures of Antalya.
Event Overview
Saturday, 6 May
The Spring Meetings 2023 kicked off with the Board Meeting (reserved for Board members only). At the end of the day, all the Delegates and their partners were invited to the Welcome Dinner that took place at Cornelia Deluxe Resort.
Sunday, 7 May
As usual, Sunday wass reserved for our social programme during which we had have the opportunity to visit the two most famous archaeological sites near Antalya, Perge and Aspendos, which are known as one of the better-preserved examples of Roman architecture. You can find more information here.
Monday, 8 May
The Spring Meetings started with an interactive working group meeting focused on the structure, content and priorities of the organisation. In the afternoon, the conference on “Future of Industry” discussed the industry’s green and digital transition and technological trends that shape the future of manufacturing. Later in the day, we worked on the SWOT Analysis of the Machine Tools Industry, outlining priorities and putting forward recommendations for the EU decision makers. The day ended with the Gala Dinner that took place at 7MEHMET Restaurant.
Tuesday, 9 May
The last day of the CECIMO Spring Meetings started with the presentation of the latest economic trends, followed by the Open Forum, where we had the opportunity to debate important issues. Right after, the General Assembly meeting took place. We closed the event with a farewell lunch.
